Star Wars -Jedi's Code (short film)
For a generation of young movie goers, the words of Obi Wan Kenobi, as he recounted the history of the Fall of the Republic, inspired a thousand imagined stories of what happened during the Clone Wars and the Rise of the Empire. Many of these questions were explored in the Prequel Trilogy and The Clone Wars animation, yet still storytellers and filmmakers alike have been inspired to find new tales from this most thrilling period of the Star Wars Universe, often referred to simply as THE DARK TIMES.
It’s fertile ground for morality tales akin to classic Westerns by Sergio Leone and Samurai dramas by Akira Kurosawa that had, in the beginning, inspired George Lucas to craft this universe. And it's on this canvas where, Jedi's Code takes place.
The project is fuelled by the love and passion of all the creators involved, who’s only desire is to forge a thrilling adventure tale in a universe that has inspired so many artists to become film makers.
When the smuggler, Kai Arclighter, crash lands on the remote world of Adara Prime, he’s forced to confront his Jedi past. The nefarious Imperial Agent, Pi-Thea-Tezu, has Kai in her sights. Can Kai reconnect with the Force to vanquish his foe? Or will he become another fallen Jedi for the glory of the Emperor?
